MY NIGHTMARE

This is the first time making such a vivid nightmare and I'll try to write out as much details cos it feels kinda familiar for some weird reason. Might be a bit disjointed and illogical but that's how dreams work don't they?

I was being chased by a bunch of weird men at some shopping mall. So I ran and saw this little escalator leading up to another mall and headed towards that direction. Saw Michael there and he advised me to hide in the toilet first while he distract the guys. Then I continued running up the escalator until I reached a hotel. Oh did I mention I was with 2 other friends? Don't know where they popped out. So we asked the hotel manager where are we and he said we're in Indonesia!!!! D: Omg. Initially he was damn nice and told us that he would be opening up a room for us ( that room is the hostel room im in now wts ) for the night. So while lying on bed, I recalled from movies that this might just be a scam so I tried to convince my friends to leave but they're too stupid to heed my advice ( havn't really got to see their faces, should be a guy and a girl ). So the next morning, we're supposed to go to this place with them, but then suddenly a lady came and said she wanted me to go on a hiking trip :O So the hotel manager had to leave his assistant to handle with me. Then I hit the assistant's head with a big rock and ran away until I came to this toilet. The toilet was damn crowded ( looks like the one at the school hall ) and I ran to the last cubicle cos it was the biggest and suddenly there was a bunch of gangsters in it greeting me cos I was "their master". Maybe I look like their master, but I took the chance to tell them not to tell the bad guys ( hotel manager and gang ) if they see me. Then suddenly, the hotel manager and gang came into the toilet as well! Apparently they were having some drug deal or something. I managed to got out of the toilet and I came to the audi. The audi had loads of year 4s and suddenly someone saw me so they thought I was late or sth and gave me this remote control as punishment cos I was late. So I tried to sneak out from the audi and when I was at the library, I realised that the remote control was in my hands! Wanted to return it back (idek what I was thinking) Then I called my dad and told him my adventure and he believed me! Aww he's so understanding! He asked me to take a cab to his shop. So I wanted to hail a cab damn desperately but I had to return my remote control. Just nice I saw Jia Xuan and by the time I see him I'm like crying already and pleaded him to return back the remote control for me. He's damn nice to do that for me. Then I proceeded on to call my cab and then.. I woke up.

Gosh this is one of the few rare nightmares I have. I vaguely remember having one when I was young when it was halloween and zombies and clowns start chasing me until my back gate. Ever since, I was damn scared of clowns and small staircases.

And another one I think it was before PSLE, when my friends and I all turn into mice! And our village had a flood so everyone was running for their lives.

Why don't I remember happy dreams :( Nightmares are damn freaky and I was so damn happy when I realised that it was just a dream.

Shopaholics on the move!

Hi again!
This time I'm back to blog about the shopping trip at Haji Lane and Scape I went together with Li Ting.
So at first, I saw a notice on facebook which says that The Candle Boutique is having their flea that day. Being aunties who loves LJ clothes, this flea was a must go. But it turns out the flea was next week LOL
(Sidetracking a bit, LJ stuffs are overpriced. Do not trust online blogshops! Bugis sells the same clothes at half the price FYI :P)

Here it is! The Candle Boutique is located at Bali Lane, somewhere in between Raffles Hospital and Golden Landmark. Haha, I had to walk around asking for directions while waiting for Liting to arrive. 

So although there wasn't a flea, the clothes were all selling at $19.90. And I thought it was kinda reasonable LOL. Plus Li Ting said this was the only dress that caught her eye in the shop and I trust her fashion sense so.. yeah ^^ Oh and when we were about to leave, the shopkeeper asked for our contact details cos she wants us to be models for some event. Liting said she heard golf LOL! Anyways, I'm not a photogenic person and camera shy, hehe, yeah shy :P
So after that we explored Haji Lane, and found out that loads of online blogshops have their retail outlets here! It's a heaven for teens but the items are like all 20+ onwards. Something like far east's pricing.

And since we were there at 11+ when most of the shops open around 12+, the street was kinda empty. Later on there were loads of tourists~

Many more shops but I didn't take pictures of all of them~ the few shops here are all blog shops ^^ The shopkeepers are really nice hehe they dont follow you around like some creep and tell you the price of any item you touch. And even though we didn't buy anything from these shops, they will thank us LOL hehe lovely people ^^
I didn't manage to take pics inside cos I thought it was kinda rude. Some shops dont like us to take photos :/

 What I love about these shops is that there's this homely and comfy feeling whenever I step into the shop haha, and I love their interior design although I didn't snap shots of it, sobz TT
Had our lunch at The Soup Spoon. This is my first time this year eating there LOL used to eat there cos they give us calorie table for each soup. I used to choose this pumpkin soup which has the lowest calories but it SUCKED. Gave up being healthy. So this time I recommended Li Ting the tomato one~ while I had Salad and an apple. (confirm not enough for me. ended up eating sushis later LOL)
Headed down to Scape for their flea and to catch a glance of qiu qiu~
I keep telling Li Ting that qiu qiu looks like some year 5 senior!!!
And there were loads of RVians there too and the place was mad packed with people. Hate crowded place that is not airconditioned >:(
Was not in the mood to shop anymore cos I got kinda angsty with the crowd and the heat so I kept my buys to minimal. Only bought these:

 This feather necklace is pretty! ^^ Bought it at $7.90. I'm those kind of people who doesn't wear much accessories. Don't wear bracelets often unless its from someone special or has a special meaning LOL. Don't wear rings either cos I usually play the violin so these accessories are more of a hindrance to me. And I have no earholes. ( dont laugh, I'm scared of pain ) So that means necklaces are the only accessory I'll wear. Love feathery accessories haha especially this one that matches my dress ^^

 Bought stitch and his girlfriend! ahhh loveeeeee <3 <3 <3 <3 and.. it comes in the capsules below! Its $3 for a pair. And hey its worth it cos.. its cute. Cute things are always worth it :) Hanged the pink one on my bag haha. Reminds me of my childhood when I put in a dollar and try my luck for something good. Always ending up having some weird boyish thing :/

Oh Haji Lane has this new studio that just opened today, together with a flea! Haiz, should have went today.. But nevermind, can always explore it during the holidays :)

Haha so after shopping, Li Ting and I were discussing if we should continue our journey with food :D yay!
So next stop will be Holland Village!

Haha wow it's been months since I last blogged and yeah, I'm getting bored again so here comes the writing :)
Just a quick update,
EOYs are over for me already heh and the time now would be spent on Chinese and PEAs
Took my grade 5 violin exam already and now I'm preparing a bit for grade 6. Kinda happy cos after grade 5, most of my pieces are getting more exciting :) learning tango pieces, duet pieces and Vivaldi's pieces ( personally my fav ^^ )
Gotten my Baden Powell Award from Guides HQ ^^
And after a term of mad juggling of studies, violin and BPA, I'm glad to say that my results are relatively satisfying (3.7 without 5.0) cos honestly didn't expect myself to do well this term with the different committments

The school year is almost coming to an end already and Im planning on taking up a part time during the holidays with liting so as to gain work experience :)
Want to go back to cambodia this year but my mum refuses cos her superstition tells her that December is a month of disasters and calamities :(

Taking a break from all the studying to blog. Wow, it's been almost 3 months since I've last blogged haha :P
Anyways, just an update of my life - I've stepped down from guides in June and now I'm currently waiting for ventures and cooking IDP to start. Which makes me reflect so much about my past three and a half years in guides and suddenly it feels uneasy to not be busy every tuesday and friday afternoon D:
But I'm still spending most of my time with guides and especially ting :) We've came up with this study schedule and we're going to stick to it till the end of years! Love those girls so much even the shortest meetup will already make my day ;) Nevertheless, I'm still looking forward to the first cca session of ventures and cooking IDP. How time flies..
On the other hand, I'm gonna take my violin exam at the end of this month and I hope I can cope with both violin, studies, ventures and cooking idp! Yeap I will! :)
And I hope someway, or somehow, the universe will reward me :P

Reality Check

The thing about expectations is most of the time, someone else sets them for you. Yet you feel like they've been there all along. And you can't wait to live up to them. But just because you know what's expected of you doesn't mean you still can't surprise everyone.

Haha, blog title inspired by BBJX.  :)  Finished reading the 上 part of the novel. Took me 1 whole week to read it cos I'm a bit slow with reading Chinese novels especially after HZGG. It was a damn good read, I mean, it really made me understand the drama better haha. Shall finish the 下 part asap too :)

Oh and I read the Hunger Games too. The book's kinda simple, easy to understand ( well, suit me ^^ )
Yeah but I din expect myself to finish the book that fast cos now I have to buy Catching Fire to continue my addiction for the trilogy.

Watched WICKED during the March holidays. Was an awesome musical, totally earned the high ratings. Still can't believe that the actors actually sang everything out. Always thought they will lip-sync.

The week's pretty relaxing since I've got the time to finish 2 books. Though I was still stressing out on Monday cos there was like so many things to handle. Got back some results, and I must say, I was pretty satisfied :)

Monday's a school holiday cos of the A level results. Although my parents din think it was that good. After all, my cousin topped the nation last year and everything has to be compared with her standard. But at least we have a day off :)

Lols havnt thought of a suitable blog title. Maybe it'll pop up by the end of this post, I dont know, haha.

Anyways, Li Ting says I've been posting way too little. And I told her I will not post about the camp. Ok I take back my words. Gonna post a few things about this camp but not all, cos some things are better kept private. :)

It was a 2D1N camp. Such a short duration I thought almost nothing will go wrong. But it did. Was frowning the whole camp, even when I was sleeping. Only slept for 2h and I slept sitting up. Treasure hunt was the only time the year 4s had a bit of fun. Esp me haha was scaring everyone with my hair let down. Had the first successful outdoor cooking that was not affected at all by any rain. Lucky day in four years! So we had dinner which was cooked purely with just mass tins and a dying fire. Can taste ash in my food but oh well, as a starter its fine :) Accomplished and satisfied we had this outdoor cooking session. Everyone ended up all smelly and sticky and our hair were all shining with oil by the end of the day.

OH YES. I caught a shooting star! It was after firedrill when the rest went up to wash up. Was sitting on the track with the year 4s and Wen Su claimed she caught a shooting star. We all din believe it cos, who the hell catches a shooting star? That only happens in movies. Haha but I DID I DID!! It was a few min after hers I saw it zoomed past me!! But the rest din believe it too ( Look at the reason above ) urgh.

Went back home all shagged and tired. Slept for a straight 15h. Now I have CID to do and ELIT to prepare. Elit hw is kinda useless actually I think the teacher's just giving us the homework for the sake of making the holidays more miserable, like it isnt already. Oh well, holidays are ending in.. one day's time, gotta pick up myself cos its term 2 starting next week! Gosh that was fast.

Happy Thinking Day! :)

Yes, Its Guides Thinking Day today, where guides gets together and think of their fellow sisters all around the world and show their appreciation to everyone. Haha, I thought there wasn't a need for this day cos I've been doing that everyday! ( just kidding haha :P ) Anyways, Its week 8 now and I'm taking a bit of my free time to post this then mug for physics. Haiz :(

So, this would be our last time being in the contingent for Thinking Day and I felt that this was the very last time time I could put in my best effort for guides and in foot drill. Yeah, used to hate foot drill and even fear it. But I will definitely miss it. (Kinda of a horrible yet priceless experience) Shouted with all my might when renewing the guides promise :) And couldn't contain my smile when they announced that we attained PNA Gold.Oops :P

The weeks went by smoothly, with a few bumps here and there but I"m glad term one is coming to an end. Gotta recharge myself soon and catch up with some drama haha! Sacrificed my ENC trips to take part in Serve Cambodia again this June so I'm gonna stay in SG while everyone is flying all over the world. But Serve Cambodia is so gonna be worth all that waiting ^^

Oh and violin practices are getting more and more exciting. Learnt Sonatas, with various movements. Really makes music more interesting, rather than the boring few exam pieces I play in the past. And if there's a chance, I would be having a duet with my teacher once I master my sonatas. Haha can't wait! And my teacher says that he might be buying in silent violins. Can kop and play with it next time too. Cool to the max! :D

On the side note, I won't be posting very often, maybe on significant days like today ( which won't be a lot since I have a dull and boring life ). But I'll try to update often! ^^ Don't think anyone reads this so I shall post for myself to read. :)

ITS CNY!

Hello! Its the start of my precious 5 day CNY break :) 
Get to wear new clothes ( havn't gone shopping D: ) and eat good food haha! 
Not to mention the money I'll get! 
So this week was really fun and lucky! Like seriously lucky!
Monday was half day cos of school anniversary. Went to sakae with guides and coloured my hair orange!

Sakae buffet was really awesome! Met our guides teachers there haha! Ate like two rounds of sushis and sashimis and lots of crap stuffs since it was free. Like a jiayan much ^^ 


On wednesday we had a LJ to espo. Went to see the 清明上河图. Lol I dont know if I wrote that correctly. :/ 
Anyways, the picture was really cool. It's animated and has like little people walking around in the photos! 
Then my violin teacher called me and told me that he's giving me two free tickets to a violin concert that night! Zomg I was so damn lucky to be able to watch that concert cos the violinist is like awesome to the max. Had sushi and starbucks before heading back to hostel after the concert at the esplanade. Reached back hostel all tired and shagged but the concert was worth it! :D 

Then friday was CNY celebrations. Kinda boring cos I was sitting at the back and all the heads in the front were blocking my view. >:( Played a bit of poker in class then went home. Yeah and Im watching movies right now haha!

First week of school D:

Yeah, school has started. Kinda sucky cos on the first day, we were given assignments, worksheets and our CID project. There's cca on the first day too, spring cleaning of the guides room. Wow, I din know the room was that messy and dirty before we cleaned it. Honestly thought that cleaning the room up was mission impossible. But we still did it. Applause!
Oh and not to mention, almost everyone I see on the first day of school looked better in the senior high uniform.   :) Full of envy~
And I found out that I had to present about Serve Cambodia with Benson to the year ones during champs to attract them to guides haha! Talking about cambodia, I heard that there's a mass ug year 4 oelp trip to cambodia during enc week. Not confirmed though, but I hope there is! :D
Friday was the toughest. Although its TGIF, I had to survive to PTs. PE was hell of a torture. But lucky there isnt 2.4 running yet.
CCA was playing of caps, some jumping rope thingy and some softball kind of running exercise. LOL. I swear the sun was scorching hot that afternoon! Celebrated jiayan's birthday after cca and everyone started drawing on each other's faces, gonna wake up with pimple breakout tomorrow D: . Hahah, I decorated the cake with Liting and it turns out better than expected cos my art is.. nevermind.
And Im glad I did well for graded chinese oP :) Was super pissed with the chinese teacher when I had to redo my PPT but nvm, it was worth it. :)
So that's my first week of school. Not really enjoyable but Im still pulling through haha! :D

So school's gonna reopen like 2 days later and Im kinda dreading the boring life in hostel/at school. But at least I have my violin to accompany me haha, gonna practise it everyday from now on if I want to get my Grade 5 dist. :D And my pretty 13 other guides that will give me the strength to endure every single boring and lifeless week. And 4D that coincidently sounds like lottery. haha!

Oh talking about violin, Im gonna introduce you this super cool violinist. He's Eric Stanley and has a killa swag.




Oh and another song that Im desperate to make it my ringtone.
But apparently designing your own ringtone on Iphone is a troublesome and tedious thing. :(

Hello again! Almost forgot about blogging cos I've been so busy with.. sleeping and watching drama and eating haha! Anyways, updating my really fulfilling december hols :)

1 - 3 Dec 3Dontchaloveus chalet!!
Its finally 3D's chalet haha, had so much fun playing poker in the room and chilling out at night. Went for midnight movie and couldnt sleep cos it was too cold. Though I din went for first day, chalet was still as awesome together with 3Dians!! <3

5 - 7 Dec GUIDES YEAR 3 CHALET!!!
HOLY THIS IS THE TIME OF THE YEAR!!! Been planning this chalet and talking about it for the whole year (: Finally its here and to describe it, AWESOME. First day we celebrated weixian and qijia's birthday. Bought a huge and yummy and chocolaty birthday cake, which i secretly ate half of it behind the pillows :P jk Then played loads of daidi and slapjack. Next day was WWW day! Yes, this is my second time going to WWW. First was during 2F chalet! still super scared of the U shaped slide. haha :) Then we went kbox and went super high through the night :) Then supper and continued playing poker. Slept till 9 the next day and then checked out, reaching home all shagged but uploaded the photos ASAP haha! Efficient yo~

9 - 17 Dec Macau, Hong Kong, Guang Zhou
e Yay another overseas trip! (The fifth time going overseas this year!) Went to Macau the first 2 days and stayed at the Venetian. Their suite is super big! (haha, never stayed in a suite in my life so.. an eyeopener (:! ) Shopped in the Venetian mall for a whole day. The stuffs there are damn expensive! ALmost twice the price in Singapore.
Next 2 days was spent in Hong Kong. Stayed in my cousin's newly renovated house. And my cousin designed it all my himself! Pro. Anyways, on the 4th day my sis and I went to Hong Kong disneyland to see the newly opened toystory land. Met Tin Yi and Tin Ying at Space mountain and played and shopped till 6pm before we left and met my parents for dinner :)
Then we joined a tour to Guang Zhou. 3D2N! Stayed at a hot spring hotel where the hot spring is like super big and quite a distance from the hotel. Which means that I have to walk in the cold :( But hot spring is the best thing ever!
Went back to HK for the last two days and recieved my christmas presents! My aunt gave me a swarovski necklace with really pretty cystals on it. And my cousin gave me a polaroid with 4 packets of films! THANK YOUUUU!!!

22 Dec 2F outing!
Yang Xi's back! Went to Sentosa and played vball and swam a bit :) Catched up a lot with the guys and Linette. And when we saw yangxi, its like he's never gone! aww :') Stayed from 1-11pm and was super tired when I reached home. But it was worthwhile to meet Yangxi!

24 Dec Christmas Outing
Val invited Sammy and I to her church's special service to celebrate christmas eve. Haha, Val's church friends are super friendly and nice. :) Had lunch with Val, Sammy and Menglu and walked down orchard road taking loads of pics with different christmas trees. Love the chocolate christmas tree. Pity its not real :(

26 Dec Movie with Liting! Went out with Liting after not meeting for almost a month? Haha, alvin and the chipmunks is damn cute omg and we shopped around orchard :) But time's limited so we din buy a lot of stuffs. Catched up with a lot of stuffs :D
Ok, so this is the end of my dec hols outings :D Had loads of fun this year, although with a few bumps here and there, but 2011 is indeed a year memorable :D
Gonna invite 2012 with an open heart and hope this goes right this year :D And to be honest, I kinda believe in the world ending next year. :P superstition haha.

Hello! This week was a blast! Had so much fun with Jengyu, Guides and 2F!

So on Monday I went to horts park with Jengyu. Got lost trying to find our way to Hendersons waves. Ended up finding some weird international school in the middle of the jungle haha! And played like real life temple run :P
Then we went to VIVO and took many pics. haha! Introduced Jengyu to MAN JI.
I swear that place sells the best hong kong desserts!! :D yummmmm!

Thanks jengyu! Had a really fun time at the park. Can loose weight too! :DD

Then on Thursday we went to ECP for BBQ with 2F. And Si Ying, Linette and I managed to start the fire while the others were finding their way there. wheee~
But as we were about to roast the food, it started raining. Talk about jinx :(
So we went to my place where my parents hosted them and the girls went to my room to start catching up with gossips and life haha!

And not to mention, congrats to my sis for getting 271 for her PSLE. She's gonna go RGS! :)

Oh! and they taupoked me!!!! the miserable me squashed at the botton DDDDD:



Then Friday we went to school for pioneering training.
But again, it started raining before we could do anything. Then Dilys found out that you're the apple of my eye is showing in west mall 15min later.

we used 15min to pack everything, rush down to return the key, took the bus, ran in the rain to reach westmall cinema. Only to know that we cant go in cos they check our IC.

Walked around westmall, had snackers at KFC and went to JP to meet the other guides for dinner!
They bought me a really cute and big PLUTO soft toy!!! <3<3
Collected our serve cambodia shirts. Its super unique and pretty! Love it :D
Had pizza hut with guides. Kai xin spammed a lot of weird jokes which i cant get it but i dont know how the others got it! Unfair much D:
Then ended the dinner buy eating birthday cake and recieving cookies from Kai xin!

HELLO!

It's been two weeks since the start of the holidays. And Im in the midst of all the CIPs and guides stuffs.
Oh! And I've received an awesome news!! We topped the nation for urban waste competition. That's a $450 and a trophy! Woots!
CIP was okay, met the few kids I took care of last year and as expected, they had forgotten me :( hahah! Anyways this time CIP is more of admin and paperwork cos the kids are still having lessons. OTL
ROD was the most tiring day ever! Was in shool from 12 to 10. Haiz, and it was together with facil camp and initiative. Busy busy.
Kinda weird to have a camp when the year sixes are mugging hard for a levels.
Anyways, ROD was a success, despite the few hiccups here and there. But it was still a memorable one. I can't believe the next ROD I'll be attending is for our level. Only half a year left! Scary D:
There's a 2D1N guides camp tomorrow where we'll be preparing for the upcoming pioneering test. Hope I can pass the test! So wanna get my gold badge. The bronze one looked really ugly and noob :( not to mention, there'll be recipes to follow for outdoor cooking haha! Can't wait!!
After this week, I'll be able to slack an probably start on some homework.
I need to have some life too! The last time I've watch a movie was the last day of EOYS.

Yes, Im starting to blog after MIA-ing for months. :)
Just a really short post cos Im not used to blogging anymore.
Especially now, when Guides stuffs are becoming more draining and tedious than mugging for EOYS.
The first three weeks of nov are booked with CIP, ROD preparation and nov guides camp. And I was really stressed after EOYS cos there was so many things to look after. ):
But endau ropin trip totally helped me with this. I used to be really scared of leeches and creepy crawlies. But as quoted from Mr huang, leeches are like the small problems in life, irritating but inevitable. As long as we look the bigger picture, leeches are nothing.
Yeap, with this, I was able to finish so many things in the shortest time. Not to mention the help guides gave me :) Thanks! :D
Oh and just to let you know my GPA, its 3.9 ^^ literally one mark away from a perfect gpa. D:
Anyways, its the start of holidays now, and imma going to fill it with drama and fun. Of course, after all the work's done :P

Anyways, had CIP dance yesterday at taman jurong cc. Kinda less crowded than I expected. And there're more little kids than rvians. Okay, pedo much haha!
So we went to perform Hoot, and it's so cool, okay at least to me, cos they provide us with sweets and popcorns and food and oh oh! We even had a photo shoot!

So that kinda sums up the first week of holidays.
From today onwards, I've came up with an intensive mugging timetable, which I have been sticking faithfully for the past.. 3hours.

When the drama addiction sets in

This is gonna be a short post cos I dont really know what to write :)
Just watched all 36 ep of new my fair princess part 1. Realised that my aunt din know that new my fair princess has 3 parts. :P
Nevermind then, both the new and original version are awesome :) and I love it. But I'll probably like a version with the old cast but the new plot.
And its so weird no one else watches it. -.-

Anyways, I've gotten my 3.8 gpa for this term, and Im going to get my new violin from my parents :D
Dont they dare go back on their words! HAHAH.

Oh and my phone is.. missing. So dont contact me until I've got it back. :P

It's not what you did, it's you

Heya people. Went for the Lit seminar at dunman high today. Together with Valerie, Raphael, Beatrice, Sammy, Estelle, Jett, Annie, Vanessa, Christalle, Nigel and Wanlu. :) And met many old friends :D Kinda happy to see them today.
The dramas by VJ was quite cool. And we attended this workshop on photo poetry, which really inspired us for the photostory project we did later.
And Dunman's food is nice~ I ate like 3 servings. :D
Then Beatrice, Raph, val and sammy came to my house to slack till 3pm. So val beatrice and raph were doing idk what on the com and Sammy and I were play the duet of Corrente. Damn nice, my violin exam piece for grade 5.
We also did the violin and piano part for merry christmas mr lawrence :) Awesome song I cant get rid of it from my head <3
Then we went to Bugis to have koi and also did our photosstory. Took many cool photos and walked from Bugis to douby gaut. Zai anot haha!

p/s: I tried to climb onto this structure and pose with it but fell, like so embarrassing :/ scrapped my knee. Super awful. And it hurts when I bend my knee, especially when the rainwater today keep splashing on my wound. :(
